Trip Itinerary

Day 1: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Depart early from Entebbe or Kampala and travel through Uganda’s rolling countryside toward Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Enjoy scenic views, local villages, and terraced hills along the way. Arrive in the afternoon, check in to your lodge, and relax as you prepare for the next day’s gorilla trekking experience. Dinner and overnight near Bwindi.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking & Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi

After an early breakfast, proceed to the park headquarters for a briefing before starting your mountain gorilla trekking adventure. Trek through dense rainforest in search of a habituated gorilla family and spend a magical hour observing them in their natural habitat. After the trek and lunch, transfer to Lake Bunyonyi, arriving in the evening. Relax by the lakeside and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere. Dinner and overnight at Lake Bunyonyi.

Day 3: Lake Bunyonyi Relaxation & Departure

Wake up to stunning lake views and enjoy a relaxed morning at Lake Bunyonyi. Optional activities include a canoe ride, nature walk, or simply unwinding at the lodge. After breakfast or lunch, begin your journey back to Entebbe or Kampala, bringing your 3-day Bwindi & Lake Bunyonyi safari to a memorable close.
