Safari Itinerary
Day 1: Akagera National Park Game Drive
Your safari begins with a morning pick-up from Kigali and a scenic drive to Akagera National Park. Upon arrival, you will start a guided game drive through the park’s savannah plains, wetlands, and lakes, searching for wildlife such as elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, antelopes, hippos, and various bird species. You will enjoy a break for lunch inside the park before continuing with an afternoon game drive to explore more areas.

Day 2: Transfer to Nyungwe Forest National Park

Day 3: Chimpanzee Tracking – End of Trip
Early in the morning, after breakfast, you will head into Nyungwe Forest for an exciting chimpanzee tracking experience. Guided by experienced rangers, you will hike through the dense forest in search of chimpanzees and other primates, observing them as they feed, play, and move through the trees. After the trek, you will return for lunch and then begin your journey back to Kigali, arriving in the afternoon or evening, marking the end of your safari.
