Safari Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival, Airport Transfer & Kigali City Tour
Upon arrival in Rwanda, you will be warmly welcomed by your driver-guide and transferred to your hotel in Kigali. After check-in and rest, you will enjoy a guided city tour visiting key attractions such as local markets, cultural sites, and the Kigali Genocide Memorial, where you will learn about Rwanda’s history and inspiring recovery. Overnight stay in Kigali.

Day 2: Transfer to Volcanoes National Park
After breakfast, you will drive through Rwanda’s scenic rolling hills to Volcanoes National Park. Upon arrival in Musanze, check in at your lodge and relax while enjoying views of the volcanic mountains. The rest of the day is at leisure to prepare for the next day’s gorilla trekking experience.

Day 3: Gorilla Trekking Experience
Early in the morning, you will head to the park headquarters for a briefing by rangers before starting your gorilla trekking adventure. You will hike through dense rainforest in search of a gorilla family and spend one unforgettable hour observing them in their natural habitat. After the trek, return to your lodge for relaxation and overnight stay.

Day 4: Golden Monkey Trekking & Departure to Kigali Airport
After breakfast, you will enjoy golden monkey trekking in the bamboo forest of Volcanoes National Park, observing these playful primates in their natural environment. After the activity, you will drive back to Kigali, with a stop for lunch or souvenir shopping if time allows. You will then be transferred to Kigali International Airport for your departure, marking the end of your safari.
