Destinations You'll Visit
Arusha National Park
Arusha National Park is one of Tanzania's most scenic parks, located only a short drive from Arusha City. Although smaller than Serengeti, it offers beautiful landscapes including Mount Meru, Momella Lakes, Ngurdoto Crater, waterfalls, forests, and open grasslands.
The park is famous for giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, warthogs, colobus monkeys, flamingos, and over 400 bird species. It is also one of the few parks in Tanzania where visitors can enjoy an optional walking safari with an armed ranger.
Lake Manyara National Park
Lake Manyara National Park is located beneath the Great Rift Valley Escarpment and offers a unique combination of groundwater forests, acacia woodland, open plains, and the beautiful alkaline lake.
The park is internationally famous for its tree-climbing lions, elephants, hippos, giraffes, baboons, flamingos, pelicans, and hundreds of bird species.
Tarangire National Park
Tarangire National Park is renowned for having some of Africa's largest elephant herds and magnificent baobab trees.
During the dry season, thousands of animals migrate toward the Tarangire River, making it one of Tanzania's best wildlife viewing destinations.
