Travelers will enjoy lush forests, crater landscapes, and Momella Lakes in Arusha National Park, along with wildlife such as giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, and colobus monkeys. Tarangire National Park is famous for its large elephant herds, baobab-studded savannahs, lions, leopards, and abundant birdlife. The trip is ideal for wildlife enthusiasts and photographers, offering immersive game drives, breathtaking landscapes, and opportunities to experience Tanzania’s rich biodiversity in a short, well-organized safari.

Day 1: Arusha/Moshi to Arusha National Park
Your safari begins with a morning pickup from your hotel in Arusha. You enter Arusha National Park for a guided game drive through its rich landscapes, including forests, open grasslands, and the scenic Momella Lakes. With the help of your guide, you may spot giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, waterbucks, warthogs, and black-and-white colobus monkeys. Depending on park conditions, you may enjoy a short walking safari escorted by a ranger, offering a chance to see wildlife up close and learn about plants, tracks, and natural features. After a picnic lunch and continued exploration of the park’s viewpoints, you proceed to your accommodation in the evening for dinner and relaxation.

Day 2: Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, you drive to Tarangire National Park, known for its huge elephant population and iconic baobab trees. Enjoy a full game drive along the river and open plains, where elephants, lions, giraffes, wildebeests, zebras, and many bird species gather to drink and feed. The park provides excellent photography opportunities due to its open landscapes and large wildlife concentrations. You stop for a picnic lunch at a safe, scenic area inside the park before continuing your afternoon game drive. Later, you return to Arusha, marking the end of your 2-day safari adventure.
