DAY 1: DAR ES SALAAM TO MIKUMI NATIONAL PARK

Pick up from yourHotel in Dar es Salaam. Drive to Mikumi National Park, approximately 2 hours with SGR TRAIN from Dar es Salaam. Enjoy your first game drive en route, spotting wildlife along the savannah plains.

Arrive at your lodge or tented camp in time for dinner and overnight stay.

DAY 2: MIKUMI NATIONAL PARK TO  DAR ES SALAAM

After an early breakfast, enjoy a full-day game drive in Mikumi National Park. Explore the park’s diverse ecosystems, including open grasslands, woodlands, and the Mkata floodplain. Look out for lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, hippos, and a variety of birds.

Stop for picnic lunch inside the park, then begin your drive back to Dar es Salaam, arriving late afternoon or evening.
