TRIP OVERVIEW

A wildlife safari day in Rwanda begins with an early morning pick-up from your hotel and a drive to Akagera National Park. Once inside the park, you enjoy a guided game drive through savannahs, lakes, and wetlands while spotting animals such as elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, antelopes, hippos, and various bird species. After a lunch break at a lodge or picnic site, the game drive continues in the afternoon before returning to Kigali in the evening, completing a memorable day in nature.

Day 1: Kigali – Transfer to Akagera National Park
You will be picked up from your hotel in Kigali and driven to Akagera National Park. Upon arrival, you will enter the park and enjoy an afternoon game drive, exploring the savannahs and wetlands while spotting wildlife such as giraffes, zebras, antelopes, and buffaloes. Later, you will check in at your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Full Day Game Drive in Akagera National Park
After breakfast, you will head out for a full-day game drive across different sections of the park. You will search for elephants, lions, hippos, and a variety of bird species while enjoying the scenic landscapes of lakes and rolling hills. A lunch break will be taken inside the park before continuing the afternoon game drive. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Morning Game Drive and Return to Kigali
